A Message from West Virginia Ancestry Founder, Karen Vyborny _________________________________________________

Dear Friends,
When I started West Virginia Ancestry I had a certain date as my personal goal to launch it, my mother’s birthdate October 30th.
I spent about 6 to 7 months in what seemed like 24/7 trying to organize my files and changing everything to pdf format. I left the website to my trusted neighbor who got it up and running with minimal fuss but to be honest I was not even happy with the site. I was too busy trying to organize the files than paying attention to how the site looked or worked.
Hence the new website. No ads which allows larger fonts, search functions and most of all pleasing colors.
I did add a donate button. Sometimes when I know there is a book in print or cd and I cannot find it on the internet for free but know it has valuable information I do purchase it. I also pay my neighbor what I can and he understands that it is spotty at times (but I do make him a mean casserole every now and then) and I also have a server that I pay for.
I would love feedback on the changes that have been made. It is not fancy but I do think it makes it easier to read and use.
Thanks for all of your support over these past 6 months.
Karen
